Acquisition and Disposal is all about extracting configurations, data and transactions and being able to put them into another Oracle E-Business Suite instance that will probably have totally different conventions, list of values, chart of accounts, responsibilities and so on.
Our products and tools enable us to extract all the information for one or more operating units and then analyze it compared to the new TARGET instance. A series of tools and AUTOMATED BUSINESS RULES enable the necessary convention changes to be made quickly and identify the configurations that need some human decisions [like SYSTEM PROFILE VALUES]
Once the changes are complete an automated package applies the operating unit[s] to the TARGET instance.
What once used to be a very complicated process [if not financially impossible] is significantly automated – reducing the time and cost substantially.
While the end customer can be trained in all the steps necessary – if this is a one off exercise then utilizing our services can be a cost effective solution.
