The KnowledgeBase – This is the heart of our software.
The Knowledgebase keeps configurations that we supply with the product [such as Financials, Purchasing etc] – these configurations are for the modules we provide there are many country localizations or industry specific set ups, contact us for your specific needs.
All your projects and instance configurations can be stored in the KnowledgeBase. The more you store, the more knowledge you have available, to select from for future problems or projects.
CONFIGURATOR uses the KnowledgeBase and you are able to combine whole projects, groups of configurations, individual layers or unique configurations together to provide the configuration you need to meet your business need. It is really like a big 3D cube where you can cut, dice and slice as you need.
The ENGINE in CONFIGURATOR has a number of RULES BASED MODULES that enable the software to make decisions. This helps automate many of the tasks that used to be very time consuming in a traditional environment.
Ensuring your current projects are stored in the KnowledgeBase means that :
- You can verify the configurations are correct and accurate – by simply running them [it is an automated task - you can have almost anyone run them]
